We listen, act, and transform
Step into a space dedicated to healing, growth, and self-discovery, where your story matters and your well-being is the priority. My name is LaShaunda Miles, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience providing mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Prairie View A&M University, where my academic journey deepened my understanding of the complex and nuanced nature of mental health. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, process difficult emotions, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with clients experiencing depression, PTSD, grief, anxiety, cognitive disorders, and insomnia-related concerns. My approach is integrative and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I tailor each therapeutic experience to meet the unique needs of every client, ensuring care that is both personalized and effective.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations, which has strengthened my ability to provide culturally responsive and empathetic care. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I work alongside clients to build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and process past experiences, all while fostering resilience and long-term growth. My goal is to empower each individual with the tools and confidence needed to navigate life’s complexities and rediscover a sense of joy and purpose.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy attending festivals, traveling, and cooking. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to the world around me.
